Newly built in 2005 it replaced the old hall which was built in 1928, and it is arguably the best village hall in Essex. The Village Hall offers superb accommodation to all its users.

Most facilities of the hall and its environs are available for hire:
  • The Main Hall: with comfortable theatre style seating for 270 (licensed for up to 270 people); will also accommodate up to 150 people for a dinner dance occasion. Comprehensive, modern kitchen included.
    Additionally, this hall boasts a state-of-the-art full-feature stage.
  • The Small Hall: a separate room, with individual access, ideal for smaller parties of up to 70 people.
  • The Boardroom: an ideal meeting room for up to 25 people.
  • The Car Park: the Village Hall has a car parking capacity, including 'disabled' parking spaces, for approximately 80 vehicles.
  • The Sports Field: approximately 17 acres comprising 3 football pitches, 1 cricket pitch, 4 tennis courts (2 floodlit) and a large public open space.
    The sports field is served by a large pavillion offering showers, changing rooms and a kitchen.
